The largest fine arts festival in Asia, the “18th Asian Art Biennale Bangladesh 2018,” will begin at the National Art Gallery of Bangladesh, Shilpakala Academy (BSA). The Cultural Affairs Ministry and BSA will jointly organize this exhibition, which will begin from September 1 and end on the 30th of the month, reports BSS. President Abdul Hamid is expected to inaugurate the exhibition as chief guest, and Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor, will be present as special guest at the inauguration ceremony. The month-long exhibition will display both two and three-dimensional artwork like painting, print, photography, sculpture, installation art, performance art, and new media art. This year, 483 artworks by 465 artists from 68 countries will be put on display at the exhibition.
